My Thoughts:
This book is special to me as I have done the genelogy of my ancestors. My Mother's grandparents the Schultzs immigrated from Germany just before the "War between the States" and he was lost in action. I have heard tales and saw photos of my great-grandmother where her hand were so twisted from so much hard work. I am so proud to say that if it had not been for the people of America, they never would have made it and I would not have been here.
This book is more for people that have immigrated themselves and I think it would help anyone that came from another country or if one of use immigrated ourselves to another country. It is a help book and although you may not agree with everything the book says I am sure some of it will help. So if you are trying to learn how to live in a different place than you were born, just read the pages of this book.
