In this book, the horses are being shot and no one has any idea who may be doing it.  Sadie is still devoted to her horse and rides even though there is trouble.  Dorothy that works at the Aspen Rance tries to get her to understand that she made just ride into trouble on her horse, but Sadie will not listen.

When Daniel appears from Lancaster County, everyone likes him as he is so well mannered and loves his family.  But Mark whom Sadie already knows has so many secrets and no one can find out what they are.

As in the first book, this one also is about the Amish and horses, so if you love horses then this is the book for you.  As there are so many Amish books and authors out there, all of them did not grow up as an Amish and still followed that faith.  Linda Byler is just such an author, so you know she really know how they work and worship.
