For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:16-17

Product Description

Targets Down is the follow-up to retired FBI agent Bob Hamer's Enemies Among Us, which Publishers Weekly hailed as "a page-turning roller coaster that feels like Jack Bauer’s 24 without sailing over the top."

When an FBI wife is critically wounded and two people are found dead on a mountain pass, special agent Matt Hogan is tasked with identifying those responsible. The undercover assignment takes him into the shadow world of Russian organized crime, neo-Nazis, and the sex-slave industry. Matt's cover is almost blown twice—once by accident, once by incompetence within the FBI ranks—making violence appear to be his only solution. As he confronts evil, Hogan relies not only on the strength of his wife's faith but his own quest to find God. He also finds terror and terrorism on this heart-pounding journey.

About the Author

Bob Hamer spent twenty-six years as a street agent for the FBI, often in an undercover capacity posing as a drug dealer, pedophile, or contract killer in order to arrest some of the world's most hardened criminals. Now retired and having received the FBI Director's Award for Distinguished Service, Bob is a member of the Writers Guilds of America and Canada and has consulted for television shows including Law & Order: SVU and Sleeper Cell. Also a Marine Corps veteran and law school graduate, Hamer lives in California.

My Review:
Los Angles, Ca. Matt Hogan was dressing so that he could go out as an undercover agent to try and catch some of the low life drug pusher out on the streets.  Unknown to the agents murders were taking place as they were getting dressed.  So many drug dealers out there with not enough agents but they do their best.

As on of the agent's wife was out at a meeting and she had driven his old car, but as she got out on the highway it stopped with her. Her cell phone would not work and it was so dark she didn't know what she was going to do.  The strip of highway was not that busy but finely a car came alone and it was a black minster that she knew, as he was trying to see what was wrong with her car, he looked and someone had stopped about one hundred yards behind them, they took something out and threw it over the embankment.  She was praying that the truck would not see them but they did and came back, shot the minister in the head and also Lydia.  Soon a couple of teens came alone and one stayed and the other went to call for help.
Are both of these people dead or will there be some hope.

So much going on with the FBI as they tried to find who did this to the couple and then they had all the drugs dealers to find and hope to stop as least part of them.

If you like a mystery book on FBI's cops and drug dealers then this is the book for you it has it all.  It reads as though the book was really the life story of Bob Hamer as he had been one of the "good guys" for so many years.

This advanced copy of this book was sent to me for review by BH Publishing.

I love books that have a roller coaster quality and there are page turners. Good that it reads like the real life story of the author. Please enter me in the contest for
'Targets Down".
